Chronicle of Love

You gave me a smile of apology,

For letting me wait in shivering night.

I gave you a smile of consolatory,

Since I got a gift,

Of your friendly tender face.

I felt snowflakes touching my heart,

When I saw your deep grey eyes.

And your conversation was warm,

Like the moon and the stars embracing my soul,

Floating in wintry fantasy.

As buds opened its new life,

I heard your confession,

Echoing through my soul,

And written on each red petal of roses.

Hipnotizing spell,

Enchanting me to be your lover.

Holding hand on the shore of the sun,

Sweet music of your promise,

I’ll never let you go,

You whispered over and over again,

Veiled my life with happiness.

Yet, the fallen leaves you counted.

And my tears you wiped.

Though you slept in illness,

Our love prayed for infinite wishes,

Till you were longed by His immortal heaven.

I denied your absence,

I knocked thousands of doors,

Finding your presence,

Holding my once glory days,

But I only saw you numb,

Silently leaving me behind,

Where I uttered mourning of yearning,

Weeping over your tomb in blue autumn.

And the last song of yours,

Song of love and despair,

Be my lullaby for the rest of my dreams.
